Dear Unit holders,

 

This is to inform you that updation of Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Know your Customer (KYC) requirements in the folio(s) is mandatory as per SEBI Regulations.

 

All unit holders are requested to update their PAN and complete KYC requirements (including for all joint holders) in the folio(s).

 

In case of folios of minors, it is mandatory to update PAN and complete KYC requirements of the guardian and in respect of PAN Exempt KYC (PEKRAN) folios, it is mandatory for all the unit holders in the folio including guardian (in case of a minor) to update PEKRAN.

 

Non-updation of PAN and Non completion of KYC requirements will lead to restriction of future financial transactions (including redemptions, switches and all types of systematic plans) and non-financial requests will not be processed if the unit holders have not updated PAN and completed KYC requirements.

Investors can also submit a copy of self-attested PAN at any of the Investor service centres with a request letter quoting their folio.

 

KYC Completion:

 

For completing the KYC requirements, Unit holders are advised to use the applicable KYC Form and submit the same at the any of the Investor service centre.

Further in case of non-PAN exempt folios, upon updating of PAN details with the KRA (KRA-KYC)/ CERSAI (CKYC), the unitholders are requested to intimate us/ CAMS their PAN information along with the folio details for updating in our records.

The KYC requirements shall be governed by SEBI circulars/ notifications, AMFI guidelines and guidelines prescribed by any other regulatory authority, as issued/ amended from time to time.

 

"KYC" is one time exercise while dealing in securities markets – once KYC is done through a SEBI registered intermediary (broker, DP, Mutual Fund etc.), you need not undergo the same process again when you approach another intermediary.
