L&T Finance Limited (LTF) is a wholly owned subsidiary of L&T Finance Holdings Limited. It was incorporated as a Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC) in November 1994. Through L&T Finance Limited, we aim to make a strong foray in the ever-expanding financial services sector.
Y M Deosthalee assumed the role of Chairman & Managing Director of our company since September 2011.
He was the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of L&T till September 2011. Since its inception in 1995, he has provided strategic direction to the financial services business of the Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) Group.
He is seen as an architect of its growth. He is also the Non-Executive Chairman of L&T Finance Limited and L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited.
He was also the Chairman of CII’s National Council Committee on Banking, Financial Sector development and Smart Cities. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of Law.
Dinanath Dubhashi is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of L&T Finance Holdings. His rich experience extends across 25 years in multiple domains in financial services such as Corporate Banking, Cash Management, Credit Rating, Retail Lending and Rural Financing.
He has been with L&T Financial Services since 2007 and has been instrumental in scaling up the retail business operations manifold, across customer segments and geographies.Under his leadership, retail business has grown both organically and inorganically to reach an asset size of around Rs 28,000 crores, serving more than 30 lakh customers.
He has also provided leadership to various functions such as Operations and Information Technology for L&T Financial Services.He has also been appointed as a whole time director on the Board of L&T Finance Holdings Limited, parent company.
Prior to this, he was associated with organizations such as BNP Paribas, CARE Ratings and SBI Capital Markets in various capacities.He holds a B.E. (Mechanical) degree and a PGDM from IIM Bangalore.
P V Bhide has worked in several government positions during a career spanning over four decades. Some of his roles include Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance; Secretary and Joint Secretary, Department of Disinvestment, Ministry of Finance; Additional Secretary/Spl. Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; Deputy Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. He has also held various other key positions across departments.He is a retired IAS Officer with an MBA, LLB and BSc degree.
S.Raghavan was the Senior Vice President & Business Head in the Machinery & Industrial Products IC of L&T. He has over four decades of experience in the Engineering/Construction industry and has been associated with L&T for over 40 years in diverse capacities in various units/departments.
He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Central Polytechnic, Chennai and Masters Degree in Economics from Punjab University besides being a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (India).
M Venugopalan has worked as a Commercial Banker for nearly four and a half decades. He started his career as a Probationary Officer with Bank of India in 1966. In 2000, he joined Union Bank as an Executive Director.
In 2003, he returned to Bank of India as the Chairman and Managing Director. In May 2005, he joined Federal Bank as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.Mr Venugopalan has also been runner-up for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 award.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Kerala University
Dr Rajani Gupte is currently the Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International University, Pune. During the period 2004-2012 she had also served as a Director of Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) and was actively involved in establishing SIIB as one of the leading B-Schools in India. She had also served as a Dean of Symbiosis International University. She had also served as member WTO committee, Government of Maharashtra, Department of Horticulture during the period 2002-06.
She has done PhD in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune University, on the topic “the impact of trade liberalisation on the level of protection of Indian Industry”.
Pavninder Singh is a Managing Director with Bain Capital in the Mumbai office. He joined the firm in 2001 and has worked in the New York and Mumbai offices. Mr Singh is a founding member of Bain Capital’s India office and he co-leads the firms India and South East Asia investments. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr Singh was the co-CEO of Medrishi.com, a healthcare services site. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) where he consulted in the e-commerce, retail, and energy industries.
Mr Singh is actively involved in the investments in L&T Finance Holdings Limited, Quest Engineering, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Hero FinCorp and Himadri Chemicals & Industries LTD.
He received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He received a BA Magna cum Laude from Harvard College.
Subramaniam N has over two decades of experience in the areas of private equity, investment management, banking, finance, accounts, risk management, system implementation and corporate governance, MIS and human resource management.
He is the founder and managing partner of MCAP Fund Advisors.He is also a faculty member at top tier business schools and professional institutes.
He has a degree in Management and Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an FCS and ICWA.

Sunil Prabhune brings with him over 18 years of experience in global and regional leadership roles. He has a proven track record in leading cross functional assignments, implementing break-through change management, developing and implementing complex Human Resources strategies and of building high performing, diverse teams. Prior to joining L&T Financial Services, he has been associated with ICICI Bank, GE and Novartis in various capacities.
He is a Gold Medalist in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Pune University.
National Head- Debt Service Management
Jaspal Ahluwalia is the National Head of Debt Service Management. He has over 24 years of experience in the Retail Asset Finance space with experience in business development, new markets development, new products development & receivables management.
He has been with L&T Finance Limited since 2008 and is currently heading the Debt Service Management Vertical which handles the collections of all business under the Retail Platform. Before taking over the National Head – DSM position, he has undertaken management roles in the Construction Equipment and Commercial Vehicle Lending, and Collections Verticals under the Retail Platform.Prior to joining L&T Financial Services, he worked with companies like GE Capital, SREI Infrastructure Finance & Magma Fincorp, in various geographies within India handling retail asset finance in various capacities.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce as well as an LLB degree and has also done his MBA from SP Jain School of Management.
Business Head- Two Wheeler Finance
Gauresh Rajadhyaksha is the Business Head for Two Wheeler Finance.
Prior to joining L&T Finance in 2013, he was with the World Bank Group in Washington, DC in various roles related to economic analysis and country development strategies, where he was part of the Bank’s corporate strategy team executing the organization’s change management program.
Mr. Rajadhyaksha holds a BE in Telecom Engineering (Mumbai University), MS in Electrical Engineering (the University of Texas at Austin) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Head-Rural Credit, Risk Control Unit and Project Management Office
Ashish Powle brings with him 18 years of experience predominantly in Retail Lending - Credit Risk & Policy. He has led credit underwriting & policies of varied products viz. personal & commercial vehicle loans, unsecured loans, housing & loan against property loans & rural lending products such as farm-credit and micro-finance. Along with the responsibility of credit, he also heads the Fraud Risk Containment Unit of L&T Finance.
Prior to joining L&T Finance Ltd., Mr Powle worked with three large Financial Institutions/Banks of India viz. Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
He is a Chartered Accountant with commerce graduation from the Mumbai University. He also holds Certified Associate membership of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).
Business Head- Farm Equipment Finance
Sonia Krishnankutty has been with L&T Finance since June 2008 and is currently the Business Head for Farm Equipment Finance. She has over 16 years of experience in handling various responsibilities across the retail finance space in both banking as well as non-banking finance sector.
Before taking over the current responsibility, she has handled management roles in Collections and Risk Control.Prior to joining L&T Finance, she has been working with Bank of Baroda in Retail banking in various roles
She holds a Master’s degree and has done Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She also holds Certified Associate Membership of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance
